After being welcomed by the professional guides, you’ll head straight to the huskies. These gentle animals, accustomed to people, are thrilled to be petted and interact with you. During a brief introduction, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the sled dogs and get the skills you need to confidently stand on the runners yourself later on. Together with the guides, you’ll pitch in and help harness the dogs.
Your Ride on the Trail
Six guests at a time set off simultaneously with their own team on the approximately 2.5 km-long loop. During the roughly 15-minute ride following the lead guide, you’ll quickly get the hang of it and glide around the curves with the right commands. Children ages 8 and up are generally allowed to steer on their own. Younger children ride as passengers with an accompanying adult. While the other participants are out on the trail, those waiting have plenty of time to pet the remaining dogs and ask the guides questions.
Wrap up with punch and mulled wine
Once all participants have completed their run, the dogs are unhitched and freed from their harnesses. To wrap up the 3-hour event on a cozy note, the team serves hot punch ormulled wine. This gives you a chance to relax and reflect on the harmonious nature of the sled dogs and their joyful barking before the start.

The experience was absolutely incredible! We felt safe and everything. The only thing I wasn't okay with was getting a call right before our long-scheduled meeting saying it might not happen due to too few bookings. Luckily, someone else showed up. I wasn't happy about that. But the guides and the experience itself were all super.

Hello Mr. Nyaaba,
Thanks a lot for your feedback! We're really glad you enjoyed the experience. Unfortunately, some activities can only run with a minimum number of participants. In your case, you were initially unlucky because another participant canceled at short notice. Luckily, we were able to find another person and run the event as planned.

Our taster morning with Husky Motion on Flumserberg was really impressive. The team welcomed us with such enthusiasm, explained everything in detail, and patiently showed us around. It was super educational and a wonderful experience at the same time. We loved it so much that we'd happily book a longer tour next winter.

The "Sled dog rides Switzerland - taster experience" was very nice. Great instructors, great dogs! I would definitely recommend the event to others. Unfortunately, a second round of sledding would be ideal. At the very least, it should be clearly defined in the invitation to tender that there is only one round to drive yourself. I was a bit disappointed in this respect.
