Nidlenloch Cave Tour

Nidlenloch Cave Tour

Get ready for an interesting Cave Tour in the Solothurn Jura. The Nidlenloch is a cave system that's almost a million years old. This adventure takes you through a cave that formed during the Ice Age and is now a protected natural site. The entrance for the Cave Tour is located at 1274 m above sea level in the Weissenstein area. There's so much to discover as you wander through the passages on this underground adventure. An expedition through the Nidlenloch Cave can be done in any weather, as it's not water-active and won't fill with water during rain or snowmelt. This cave was formed by meltwater from a glacier and is completely safe today. In 1909, it was considered the deepest cave in the world.
