Abseiling Amden
Abseiling down the dam wall above Lake Walen in beautiful St. Gallen is a popular adrenaline adventure for school classes, companies, clubs, as well as families and friends. Lehni is the meeting point, and from there, you'll walk to the 40-meter-high dam wall. The view of the lake and the Glarus Alps is already a highlight on the way. Once you reach the dam wall, a trained and experienced guide will prepare you for abseiling. You'll be fitted with harnesses and shown how to abseil. After you're equipped with the abseiling and safety gear and the carabiner, you can brave going over the dam wall's railing. You set the pace.

Your technique will improve, and you'll feel how to use your body posture. Once you're at the bottom, you can take a short path back up to the dam wall and rappel down again – as many times as you like. The fantastic view of Lake Walen will amaze you again and again during this approximately 2-hour adventure. Up to five abseiling points can be set up, depending on the group size, and maybe a little 'rappel race' will give you an extra adrenaline kick!
