A paragliding tandem flight takes place as follows: You meet your pilot at the agreed location, from where you travel to the launch site either by bus or cable car. Once you arrive at the launch site, the paraglider is laid out and you receive a briefing on the launch procedure. Then your paragliding flight can begin - in summer and winter - also available as a voucher! Don't worry, the take-off procedure for a tandem flight is very simple and requires no prior knowledge. You strap yourself in, start running and then take off with your paraglider. Paragliding - there's no faster or more beautiful way to get airborne! Frequently asked questions about paragliding
At Adventurebase we offer paragliding flights for every budget. Our prices start from CHF 180 for a normal tandem flight. The costs vary depending on the duration of the flight, the altitude difference and the chosen flying area (e.g. Davos, Zurich or Ticino). You can find all current prices and available dates directly above in our booking calendar.
The flight time depends heavily on the type of flight selected and the thermal conditions:
Trial flights: Enjoy approx. 10 to 15 minutes of pure flying time - ideal for getting to know the sport.
Thermal flights: Here we use the updrafts and often stay in the air for 30 to 45 minutes or longer.
The total time required (including the drive to the launch site, instruction and preparation) is usually between 1.5 and 2 hours.
Sturdy shoes (hiking boots or good sneakers), as we have to walk a few steps at the start.
A windproof jacket and long pants suitable for the weather (even in summer).
Sunglasses and (in winter) gloves. We will provide you with a helmet and all the flying equipment.

No. A paragliding tandem flight does not require any special sporting skills. You just need to be able to run a few meters at the start and your body weight must not exceed 100 kg.
There is no minimum age for paragliding tandem flights. For passengers under the age of 18, we only require the signature of their parents or legal guardian.
